Progression to the next stage will see Simba become the first club from East Africa to reach the Semi-finals of the CAF WCL.

Simba Queens Barakat Olaiya entered their 2-0 win over Determine Girls as a 51st minute substitute, she managed to influence the game as she had two goal involvements. She made an assist for Opah Clement for the game’s opening goal two minutes after coming on and she converted an 80th minute penalty to make sure of the points.

Progression to the Semi-finals will see them become the second Southern African side to reach the last four of the CAF WCL.
