Accra:Cairo The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) is set to hold a virtual Executive Committee (EXCO) meeting on Thursday, 22 October 2026. The meeting will be chaired by CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe and is scheduled to commence at 17h00 Cairo time / 14h00 GMT.
According to Confederation of African Football, the EXCO will address several important topics, including preparations for various upcoming CAF events. These events include the CAF Ordinary General Assembly in Nigeria on 21 November 2026, the TotalEnergies CAF Super Cup in South Africa on 8 November 2026, the CAF Beach Africa Cup of Nations in Senegal, and the CAF Awards in Lagos, Nigeria on 7 December 2026.
Additionally, the EXCO plans to deliberate on the bidding process for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) and other related competition matters.
