The Province’s Vital Forces Reaffirm Their Attachment to the National Flag


Gnagna: The province’s constituent bodies and students in patriotic immersion took part on Monday, at the Bogande high commission, in a solemn raising of the colors, a symbol of unity and national cohesion. The flag was raised by the students in patriotic immersion, who solemnly performed the Ditany¨, under the respectful and patriotic gaze of all the participants.



According to Burkina Information Agency, High Commissioner Jean Baptiste Beogo presided over the ceremony and recalled the significance of the act, emphasizing that it goes beyond mere ritual to embody the collective commitment to defending republican values. He explained that the collective raising of the colours is a practice instituted by the government to strengthen patriotic sentiment, especially in a context marked by security challenges.



In his address, the provincial authority praised the efforts made by the various social components in consolidating resilience in the face of adversity. He encouraged them to maintain this momentum of solidarity and sacrifice, highlighting the importance of unity in navigating the current challenges.
