Rise of the Colors: Populations Invited to Remain Attached to the Nation’s Ideals

Kampti: Kampti Town Hall served as the setting for the traditional raising of the national flag this Monday. The ceremony, marked by solemnity, mobilized the heads of decentralized state services, employees, and local stakeholders.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the President of the special delegation of Kampti, Massaba Aime Soulama, reaffirmed the highly symbolic significance of this civic exercise which, according to him, constitutes a constant call for patriotism and national unity. He urged the population to remain firmly committed to defending the nation’s ideals, while taking ownership of the initiatives undertaken at the central level.

The Prefect also invited everyone to develop, at their own level, innovative and appropriate actions to strengthen the momentum of national construction. “We must think and act together to adapt and implement, at our level, the actions taken at the highest levels of the State. We can also invent our own ways of doing things in order to contribute to building the Homeland,” he maintained.

In his speech, Mr. Soulama praised the spirit of solidarity recently demonstrated by the traders of Kampti who spontaneously offered cement to fill some potholes in the tarmac. A gesture he described as patriotic, exemplary, and worthy of encouragement.

The next solemn raising of the colors is scheduled for Monday, October 6, 2025, at the level of the Basic Education District (CEB) of Kampti.
