Presidential meeting with Bishops of Evinayong and Mongomo

On 10th March, the Head of State and Government, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, held separate audiences with the representatives of the Dioceses Evinayong and Mongomo, Calixto Paulino Esono Abaga and Juan Domingo Beka Esono.

The Bishop of Evinayong, Esono Abaga, was the first to attend the appointment to speak about the refurbishment of the building that houses the headquarters of his diocese.

For his part, the prelate of Mongomo, Monsignor Juan Domingo Beka Esono, began the conversation by wishing the President well for 2020 and expressing gratitude, in the name of his diocese, for the moral support and economic contribution towards the reconstruction of Malabo Cathedral.

Beka Esono also told H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo that his diocese, located in the province of Wele-Nzas, would this year hold the Association of Episcopal Conferences for Central Africa (ACERAC).
