Boitumelo Joyce Radebe is the second player from Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies to score a brace at the CAF WCL along with Lelona Daweti who scored both their goals in their opening game 2-1 win over Bayelsa Queens.
Radebe scored two goals from three shots on target in the game, she also made 67 passes more than any other player.
Sundowns completed 572 passes in the game, compared to 262 passes for Wadi Degla.
Chuene Morifi who made two assists in this game is the second player at the 2022 CAF WCL to make two assists in the same match, along with Ireen Lungu of Green Buffaloes who did so in her team’s 4-0 win over Determine Girls on Match day 1.
This was the second time at the 2022 CAF WCL that four players had managed to score in a game, the other occasion was when Green Buffaloes defeated determine girls 4-0 in Group A.
This was Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies second game at a CAF WCL finals against North African opponents it was their first win, they had drawn 0-0 against AS FAR in the 2021 group stages.
