Manama, National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR)’s President Ali Ahmed Al Derazi received Middle East and North Africa European Union (EU) at the European External Action Service (EEAS) Deputy Director-General Carl Hallergaard.
NIHR’s Secretary-General Yasser Ghanem Shaheen was present.
The meeting discussed topics of common interest and cooperation between the institution and the EU delegation.
Al Derazi presented the role of NIHR in dealing with the human rights in the Kingdom.
Hallergaard thanked the institution’s efforts to promote human rights in the Kingdom.
