Hosts and defending champions Morocco will face three-time winners Egypt in Friday’s final in Laayoune after thrashing Angola 4-0 on Wednesday night. This will be a repeat of the last edition in South Africa in 2016 where the Moroccans won 3-2 to clinch their first title.
Egypt had earlier booked a slot in the final after hitting Libya 5-2.
The two have thus automatically qualified for the 2020 FIFA Futsal World Cup which will be held in Lithuania. Angola will face Libya in the play-off to determine the third team to join the two finalists at the World Cup.
