League one championship: YOSA 6 points away from a playoffs

Yong Sports Academy of Bamenda – YOSA on their part are now just 6 points away from a playoff spot in the league one championship.

The Yellow Submarines of Bamenda grabbed a point against APEJES of Mfou in Yaounde in an advanced day 16 game of the championship. With 17 points, YOSA still has much to do to maintain their hopes of taking part in the playoffs. With just 6 games left, the boys of Amunewa Franklin will need to miximise their efforts to push through and make fans proud.

Still this weekend, Coton Sports of Garoua have been kicked out of the CAF Total Energies Champions League tournament. The Garoua Boys lost all their four games and were again beaten 0-1 by Avion of Nkam in an advanced day 17 game of the local league last Saturday March 11.

The Cotonnites have now lost six matches in a row and will face Al Ahly of Cairo in Garoua on Friday March 17 for their fifth CAF Total Energies Champions League game.
