The President of the Confederation Africaine de Football Ahmad Ahmad, on Saturday (18 May 2019) paid a courtesy call on DR Congo Head of State, the President Felix Tshisekedi, in Kinshasa. It was the first meeting between the two since Felix Tshisekedi was elected last January.
On a private visit to the country, the President Ahmad Ahmad, supporting the role of Governments towards the development of sports on the continent, took the opportunity of the meeting to discuss with the President Tshisekedi, a football enthusiast, key issues on how to improve and promote African football.
CAF President was accompanied by CAF second Vice-president, Constant Omari.
The Cameroonian star of football, Samuel Eto’o, was also part of the delegation.
