The President of the Confédération Africaine de Football (“CAF”), Dr Patrice Motsepe expresses his deepest condolences on behalf of CAF, to the Asian Football Confederation (“AFC”), its President Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa, and the families of the football spectators who died during the match between Arema Football Club and Persebaya Surabaya in Malang City, Indonesia.
CAF also wishes to those spectators who were injured at the match, a speedy and full recovery.
