Boulgou’s National Colours Ceremony: Bittou Town Hall Secretary General Calls for Courage and Vigilance


Boulgou: The courtyard of the Bittou prefecture was the venue for the traditional raising of national colors on the first Monday of September 2025. The event, held on September 1, 2025, saw the active participation of the local community and civic leaders.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony was presided over by the Secretary General of the Bittou Town Hall, Mathieu Guitanga. He was joined by the constituted bodies of the Bittou commune and civil society members in a display of unity and national pride.



The event also featured remarks from Blaise Banao, the representative of the commander of the Bittou territorial brigade. Banao expressed gratitude to the attendees for their presence and commitment to the occasion. He emphasized the importance of instilling national values in younger generations.



Additionally, the chairman of the Bittou special delegation addressed the gathering, urging the local population to maintain their courage and vigilance. He encouraged the community to persist in the face of challenges, stating, “We must not give up, we must not become discouraged. On the contrary, we must arm ourselves with courage.”
