Botswana complete double over Namibia into next round

Botswana are through to the next round of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Costa Rica & Panama after beating Namibia 2-0 in Gaborone on Saturday, making it 9-0 on aggregate.

A goal each from Obonetse Rathari and Keitumetse Dithebe were enough to ensure the Young Zebras completed a double over their regional rivals into the First Round. Botswana won the first leg 7-0 in Windhoek.

Spurred by energetic home crowd, the hosts asserted their dominance early and earned their first goal on the 13th minute through Rathari.

Nine minutes later, they scored the second to seal victory courtesy a superb free kick taken by Dithebe .
