Nicosia: The Construction Output Index experienced a 5.2% rise during the January-December 2025 period compared to the same timeframe in 2024, as reported by the Statistical Service. This growth highlights a significant development in the construction sector over the year.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the Construction Output Index reached 135.02 points in the fourth quarter of 2025, based on a 2021 baseline of 100.00. This marks a 9.0% increase compared to the fourth quarter of 2024. In parallel, the Producer Price Index in Construction also showed a 4.1% increase over the same annual period.
The Producer Price Index in Construction was recorded at 125.72 points in the fourth quarter of 2025. This figure represents a 0.6% increase from the third quarter of 2025 and a 3.0% rise compared to the fourth quarter of 2024. These metrics reflect ongoing trends and shifts within the construction industry.
