The coaches of Morocco and Senegal are hoping for a positive starts ahead of Group B clash on Monday at Chamazi Stadium, few miles outside Dar es Salaam City.
Morocco trainer, Jamal Sellani said; Senegal is a very good team and the group favorites. If you saw them in the qualifications you will understand what I am trying to explain. So we expect the tough game tomorrow.
But Senegal coach, Malik Daff is contrary to Sellani idea; We don’t want this idea of being favorites to disturb us. Football has changed and every team has improved. Morocco is a good side and we need to work hard to beat them.
Despite giving Senegalese advantage ahead of the game, Sellani unveils that they know enough of their opponents and they will work upon it to get positive results.
We know Senegal strengths and weakness so we will play with it in mind. This is the opportunity for my players and they know the scouts will be all over out there and those who will work hard will get a chance to be seen in the world.
However, Daff insists that their target is to play well and win. We are going to prepare for each game different. Every team has something to offer and Morocco is a good team, they are well prepared for the game.
Senegal captain, Ahmed Faye insists that they have confidence ahead of the game. We have played Morocco before and we know that this game is not going to be easy but we have confidence and our aim is to work hard and perform better.
Morocco captain said; The game is very important for every player. We believe in our quality and we hope to write history for Morocco. It is good opportunity for us.
