ACTIF Grand Prix Launches Fifth Edition in Komsilga

Komsilga: The Association of Communicators, Translators and Innovators of Faso (ACTIF) officially launched the 5th edition of the International Grand Prix for Communication, Translation and Innovation of Faso (ACTIF Grand Prix) in Komsilga on Sunday. This competition aims to reward excellence and creativity in communication and translation, while highlighting innovations that contribute to the influence of Burkina Faso and Africa, and promoting talents working for a more open, inclusive, and innovative society.

According to Burkina Information Agency, ACTIF President Amade Amado Soro announced a major innovation in this edition: the inclusion of new languages. The competition now includes Dagara in the national languages category and Russian in the international languages category. The national category encompasses seven languages: Moore, Dioula, Fulfulde, Gourounsi, Gourmantche, Bissa, and Dagara, while the international category includes French, English, German, Arabic, Turkish, Spanish, and Russian.

Registration for the 5th edition is available to all, from September 1 to October 25, 2025. Interested participants can register at the headquarters of the International Cabinet of Translation, Study, Training, Communication and Interpretation (CITEFCI) in Ouagadougou, at the headquarters of Savane Medias in Ouagadougou, at the La Dignite de Ouaga School Group in Yagma, or online by sending their application to [email protected].

The organizing committee has announced that the oral and written exams will be conducted at a later date, with the winners set to be awarded in December.
